Sundance - Here We Come!

Fearless Episode Hunters is complete and was presented to members of the cast and crew on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at the NW Film Forum followed by an after party; the reception was amazing and everyone loved the film. Amazing job to our sound designers Phil Thenstedt and John Nold; huge SHOUT out to Ken Post for the amazing score and a BIG thank you to our editor, Ryan Dunleavy!

Executive Producers James Lyle and Leo Roberts are still working on additional non-public screenings as well as finishing out the last track of the score for the film. The producers are now reviewing a local artist to supply/contract the final track so this WIP (work-in-progress) continues.

Fearless has been officially submitted to the 2012 Sundance Film Festival and is now classified as "In Consideration". The producers have received the official invitation to IMDb and will be submitting names of the cast/crew over time. Other film festivals for the remaining 2011 season are being considered along with festivals kicking off in 2012 including the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) and the Seattle True Independent Film Festival (STIFF).

WE HAVE PICTURE LOCK!
Posted June 6, 2011

Post-Production Continues

The post-production process has reached a Picture Lock status for "Fearless Episode Hunters". Picture Lock is the stage of editing a film/television program prior to on-line editing when all changes to the film or television program have been cut and approved. The next stages in post-production will be two phases operating simultaneously.

Ryan Dunleavy (Editor) and Sam Akina (Director) will proceed with on-line editing that includes visual effects and color correction while sound design begins. Production House Media will begin sound design work (ADR, VO, sound effects, foley, etc) while composer, Ken Post, will begin music composition.

Post-production is scheduled to conclude August 29. Producers will be submitting the final product first to Sundance 2012 for consideration along with SIFF 2012. Other film festivals to be later announced.

THAT'S A WRAP!

Principal Photography Complete

Principal photography concluded on Sunday, March 20 and now the process moves into post-production. On behalf of the executive producers, thank you to every cast and crew member who made this film possible. A BIG THANK YOU to Assistant Director, Kate Sultan for keeping the production on schedule and finishing earlier then scheduled.

"Thanks to our fearless editor, Ryan Dunleavy, at least 50% of the film has been edited and with filming now complete, a rough cut will be around the corner", says Leo Roberts, Executive Producer. Sound design will be provided by Phil Thenstedt and John Nold at Production House Media; composer, Steve Brush will also begin music composition.

The producers are hoping to provide the cast and crew with a glimpse of the film on April 9 for the Wrap Party and a final screening toward the end of June. The film will be submitted to the 2012 Seasons of the Seattle International and Sundance Film Festivals to start. Additional festivals will be reviewed and the film will be submitted where appropriate. Due to the strict rules of festivals, the film will not be shown publically or made available via the Internet in 2011.

PRODUCTION CONTINUES!

Atom Bomb Zero vs. The Evil Dr. Malvos!

Filming resumes this weekend (March 19/20) at a private residence located in West Seattle. Our superhero Atom Bomb Zero will attempt to save Katherine Kyle, our plucky mini skirted heroine from the megalomaniacal plans of the evil Dr. Malvos, whose Chronophagus machine can harness the energy in the unlived moments of your life.

The set for the Chronophagus Device Laboratory is almost complete and is very reminiscent of a set you would find created by a studio back in the 1960's. Production Designer, Rob Welch and Master Carpenter/Property Master, Chris Collins-Lubin have done an amazing job at capturing the feel and look of the "Atom Bomb Zero" Universe. "Fearless Episode Hunters is my little love letter to British TV, science fiction fandom, and romantic comedy, three things I adore. It's about the power of nostalgia as a force for good, and sometimes a source of mischief, in our lives", says Creator James Lyle.

The cast and crew have been waiting for months to be on this set and step back into the past to make movie magic. They can't wait for the final product and to help the Fearless Episode Hunters find Episode 98.

Principal Photography 50% Complete!

We have completed two full days of filming on March 5 and 6. Scenes for the Comic Book Store were filmed at Comics Dungeon located in Wallingford and scenes for the Atom Bomb Zero Headquarters were filmed at the Greenwood Space Supply.

The Living Room scenes were filmed at the residence of Production Designer, Rob Welch while exterior scenes were shot in various locations around SoDo.

Filming resumes on March 19 and 20 for all of the Malvos Lab scenes also located at the residence of Production Designer, Rob Welch. Everything looks amazing; the cast and crew are looking forward to filming in a mad scientist laboratory which looks like something you'd see from the 1960's.
